Minor Change Approval – Service Station & Café Upgrade

Location: 1 Dalma Street, Ormeau Hills
Approval Timeframe: ~3 Weeks

Following an existing approval for a Service Station and Café, the project sought to enhance usability and customer experience through targeted design refinements.

The application was approved in full under delegated authority, with Council confirming that the changes were appropriately characterised as a minor change, resulting in an efficient approval timeframe.

Residential Subdivision Approval – 1 into 5 Lots

Location: 82 Podinga Circuit, Ormeau
Approval Timeframe: ~3 Weeks

This project involved unlocking additional residential yield from an established suburban allotment through a carefully considered subdivision design. The proposal was developed to achieve a compliant and marketable outcome, responding to key planning scheme requirements including lot size, frontage, and servicing constraints.

Urban Measure provided end-to-end planning and project coordination, including feasibility advice, consultant management, application preparation, and ongoing liaison with Council throughout the assessment process.

Planning Advice –

Major  Training

Property Acquisition – South East Queensland

This work involved providing targeted planning advice and training to support the optimisation of industrial development outcomes.

The focus was on identifying opportunities to unlock land use/subdivision design, while responding to key planning scheme requirements including environmental and servicing constraints.

Urban Measure provided end-to-end advisory support, including feasibility insights, planning strategy, and guidance on navigating the development application process.

Work In Progress – 7 Storey/28 Unit Apartment Building

Location: 123 Eugaree Street, Southport

This project involves the delivery of a 7-storey residential apartment building comprising 28 units within a well-located Southport site.

The proposal is being developed to respond to the planning framework, built form expectations, and surrounding urban context, while achieving an efficient and commercially viable outcome.

Urban Measure is leading the development application process, including planning strategy, coordination of the consultant team, and preparation of the planning submission to support a high-quality infill development outcome.
